Illuminating Health: Red Light Therapy's Transformative Power

Martamaria Hamilton

Dr. Carl Rothschild shares his 47-year journey from skeptical chiropractor to red light therapy innovator and expert. His groundbreaking work with whole-body red light therapy has transformed countless lives by stimulating cellular mitochondria to enhance natural healing processes without side effects.

• Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths that penetrate deeply into tissues without harmful heat
• Dr. Rothschild discovered that bathing the entire body in red and near-infrared light produces dramatically better results than spot treatments
• Near-infrared light stimulates mitochondria to produce ATP, the cellular energy that powers all healing processes
• Mitochondria make up 10% of body weight, highlighting their critical importance to overall health
• Patient success stories include stopping recurring heart attacks, reversing blindness progression, and resolving multiple autoimmune conditions
• Red light therapy helps with weight loss by temporarily increasing fat cell permeability without destroying essential tissues
• The therapy effectively addresses both physical and psychological conditions, including depression
• Treatment sessions last just 12 minutes with noticeable results typically appearing within six visits
• Unlike many medical interventions, red light therapy has zero recorded side effects after 50 years of study

Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Telewellness Podcast. I am your guest host, sandhya Sharma, a licensed professional counselor, certified substance abuse specialist and an EMDR-trained practitioner. Today's guest is Dr Carl Rothschild. Dr Rothschild has dedicated his life to increasing vitality in others. He has led to the groundbreaking research and domain of red light therapy. Dr Rothschild or Dr Carl, can you please give us a brief history in organs of red light therapy and what it is and the history of it?

Speaker 2:

Yes, I like to start off with telling you what got me involved in this in the first place. Sure, so in 19, it's been going back a little bit in 1972, maybe 71, I was an undergraduate in a very good school in New York and a university and I was trying to decide what I wanted to do. I knew I was going to. I loved biology. I was always a biologist and I loved everything about it and I loved helping people, as corny as that may sound. And, uh, I started learning about chiropractic. And let me tell you, back in that time and in New York, chiropractic was nobody knew about it. And they did. They thought it was a bunch of hooey, you know, like I might as well become a voodoo master or something like that, at any rate. But I started calling up chiropractors all over the country and I never found one that wasn't thrilled to have become a chiropractor and I said that's what I want. I want to help people. Money was not my main focus. I don't mind making money and it's always true. Now, even though I'm 72 years old, I still feel that way, that helping people is a critical part of what I want to do. So I became a well, I came out from New York to California to start chiropractic school in and around Los Angeles and I opened up in 1978, 79, give or take as a chiropractor, which is 47 years ago and in that time I did well. I mean, I enjoyed it, I helped people, I liked learning new stuff, and then about 20 years, in which is about 27 years ago, I was introduced to red light therapy by, of people, an orthopedic surgeon. Now I say that because I will be honest with you, orthopedic surgeons are not a big fan of red light therapy. Why is that? Go to an orthopedic surgeon, even unconsciously, they go. Okay, on this hand I can make tens of thousands of dollars and on this hand not. What are they going to choose? I mean it's an unfair. And not, what are they going to choose? I mean it's an unfair in this country, since it's very you know, the medical world is very money oriented. They're not a big fan of it.

Speaker 2:

But he's the one, ironically, that brought it to the United States. He's the first one that got FDA clearance and I knew him before that. He hands me this device that looks a lot like a flashlight and he says here, help me save the world. And of course I thought he was crazy. Yeah, I'm going to take a flashlight and shine it on somebody and of course, being a wise guy from New York, I knew everything. You know, there I am with a flashlight, that I'm going to change the world, so at any rate.

Speaker 2:

But I agreed to try it out and within a relatively short period of time it revolutionized my practice. I was able to do things that we never dreamt possible. So the only thing we knew back then was that you couldn't hurt somebody. That was it. That was the only rule that we knew. It can't hurt. So why not try it?

Speaker 2:

So I would go to my patient and say look, besides what I've been working with you for all these years, what else you got? So this lady said she has gum disease. I'm not a dentist, I don't know. I mean, her teeth look terrible, her gums look terrible. And we helped her gum disease and this guy with his kidney problem and this disease and this guy with his kidney problem and this guy with his ripped Achilles tendon. It wasn't ruptured, but it was needed surgery. We sent the guy to the orthopedic surgeon, came back with the report that he needed surgery, but it was not going to be for a few days. So we treated him with the light every day until that last day of the week and late in the afternoon he went for the surgical review and he didn't need surgery. That's incredible and that's when we kind of even then we knew, okay, this is really amazing.

Speaker 2:

So musculoskeletal, um things were a slam dunk, but also other things, like I said that that and the devices back then. Our device was the state of the art at that time but it's depth of penetration and again it was only about this big around. Let's see, you know it's a, it's depth of penetration and again it was only about this big array. Mostly, you know it's a. It's about two, maybe two and a half inches, uh, diameter, and so it wasn't really going to cover a lot part of the body. And then about 14 years ago it was discovered that there was an element of light that I was not involved with called red light. Now, up until that point I only used near infrared, and we're gonna talk about infrared and near infrared and far infrared and all that stuff in a minute. But there was an element of light in the red light range that actually helped with fat loss, and that's when I knew, okay, this is huge.

Speaker 2:

I mean, if you, if anyone ever watches any daytime television and sees the commercials, many of them are about this and these injections that you can get to help with weight loss. So people are willing to do next to anything, almost anything, whether it's dangerous or not, if it's going to help them lose weight. They will take poisons, they will get injections, they will do whatever it takes. But imagine if you can do something that's absolutely natural, that doesn't damage anything and it works and it's successful. Now it has to be paired up with somebody who's not crazy and going to go home and get drunk and overeat every night. But if we put the person on a reasonable diet and I hate the word diet, by the way, because it means there's a beginning and an end when the diet's over, they're going to put all that weight back on. So it's really about lifestyle changes. And if we can make it gentle for them to introduce to their lifestyle where they can eat this way for the rest of their lives, which means it's calorically neutral, they're not overeating, we're not asking them to starve. Calorically neutral, they're not overeating, we're not asking them to starve, it's just a calorically neutral diet and combine it with the red light therapy that I'm going to talk about the mechanism in just a moment. But when you combine those two things together, unbelievably wonderful results. So there, I am hot and heavy with the fact that it can now do weight loss.

Speaker 2:

So, sure enough, I got involved with manufacturing. I said I want to be in this even bigger. And I got involved with manufacturing and we were involved with lasers and pads and panels and all that stuff and they were nice. At the time we thought they were the greatest thing ever. But then something again pretty unique happened, called COVID, and by that time we had hundreds of locations all over the country and the practitioners were wanting less physical contact between the patient and the provider and we came up with something like this bed.

Speaker 2:

This is a, you know, sixth generation, but the first generation, the first bed we developed, was because you can get in out of the bed yourself. You don't need staff. So when someone says what is the cost, I said well, you're saving yourself thousand dollars a month, you don't need staff. So when someone says what is the cost, I said well, you're saving yourself thousands of dollars a month, you don't need staff. Right off, they get in the bed, the patient gets in the bed and they get out of bed. That's it. It's quite simple. You know, the first day they get a little slight orientation about takes minutes to just show them which button to push, which is the one that says on, and they get in the bed. So we developed the bed just as a replacement of equipment that we were developed, that we were manufacturing.

Speaker 2:

Up to that point, and within a relatively short period of time, after we had started shipping and and getting these beds to different facilities, we started getting outrageously miraculous feedback. I mean, you wouldn't believe it. I didn't believe it. So, for example, let's take one example Arnett.

Speaker 2:

Arnett calls up one of our practitioners and said I'm having a heart attack once, if not twice, a week and every time he would die, literally die a week. And every time he would die, literally die, this defibrillator that they had implanted in his chest many years ago would zap him back to life. But by the time we met him, 12, 13 years in, he was not doing well. You know, if you want to kill off a part of your body, restrict blood flow, well, that's what was going on. His heart was failing and he had horrible pulse, blood pressure, everything was wrong His erectile dysfunction, everything. He had terrible erectile dysfunction. He used to be an athlete. Now, just to take a few steps would put him out of breath.

Speaker 2:

So he was definitely in terrible shape and the practitioner said I don't think I should treat him. I don't want him having a heart attack. In my office I said look, we know one thing you couldn't hurt this person. So let's try it. And a normal dose is 12 minutes. How about just five minutes? Let's just treat him for five minutes and stay in the room the whole time. Let's see what happens. That patient goes home that night that was almost two years ago Hasn't had a heart attack since. Wow, now, if this was one, only one story. Now, by the way, he has had more treatment, but after just even that first visit he noticed a huge change. But no more heart attacks. So hundreds of heart attacks, hundreds of heart attacks. No more heart attacks clearly life-changing.

Speaker 2:

Yes yeah, in fact, that's exactly what many people say. I have a relatively famous guy that and and he has it at his home and he said I interviewed him and he said it's absolutely life-altering and that was a phrase that we use. Like you say, life-changing, life-altering, it will change people's lives. So, at any rate then, yeah, yeah, we kept getting more and more unbelievable success and beautiful results. I want to tell you what we learned. What we learned was that it's about bathing the whole body at the same time. Up until that point, we were doing parts of the body, but when you bathe them from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet, left and right, front and back, inside and out, covering as many cells of the body as you possibly can, that's when you get these incredible results. So I'm going to talk about the mechanism and why affecting all these cells at the same time is so important, but I'm going to table that for a second. I want to tell you that I want to point out, first of all, our YouTube channel. If you want to see great, great videos, go to at trifecta light dot com. No, wait a minute, go to youtube and put in at trifecta light official. That's all you need to put in there and you'll get to our videos. I'm going to also send you a bunch of links and stuff like that that you can share with your audience, including these testimonial videos. Excellent, if you get a chance to see Arnett's, I'm going to talk a moment about. Jessica's and Steve's. I'm going to talk about, maybe for a second, jerisha, you know. I mean, they are emblazoned in my brain because I'm the one that interviewed them and I often don't know what to expect. I didn't know that Jessica was going to tell me that she had 16 outrageously serious conditions and now she doesn't. I didn't know that Jerisha had had a stroke and after eight visits with the bed she was better than before she ever had the stroke. So we're going to talk about that in a moment. So we're going to talk about the YouTube channel. Please go there if you get a chance. Also, if you see me.

Speaker 2:

Oh so, also on the left here, if you're looking, you can see that that's my book. I wrote the book on red light therapy. It's called illuminated healing and it's a great read. And if you'll send me, by the way, your your address, I would love to send you a free copy of it. Thank you, uh, but it's uh, it's on amazon and you can get it as a actual book. You can get it as a kindle, which means you can read it online, or you can get it as an audible. Uh, if you want to listen to me, talk for eight hours or so, whatever. Um, so, and that's about the book. Now, on the top right here of this, you'll see. So that's about the book. Now, on the top right here of this, you'll see the website. It's trifectalightcom. I would love for you to visit trifectalightcom. There's a lot of good information, but, in particular, if you go to the Contact Us page, on the left side of that Contact Us page, you can send a request to find a location closest to you.

Speaker 2:

Now here's what I'm going to tell you. I don't care what you got. If you're in perfect shape, maybe you're not a great candidate, because I don't know if you'll see a difference. But if you have any issues, I don't care what it is. I don't care if it's a rare hereditary disease that they've given up on you with. I don't care if it's post-Jab or post-COVID, or long COVID, as they call it. I don't care what it is. Try six visits, remember.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you two things. One about side effects. In the 50 years that this thing's been studied, there has never been a recorded side effect Never. So what's the worst that will happen is nothing, and that doesn't typically happen. And on the other hand, is the word called contraindications. So what are contraindications? Those are people that should not get in the beds, and between me and you there really are no real contraindications. It means anyone can get into bed.

Speaker 2:

However, from a legal standpoint, the common denominator is always pregnant women. Any therapist, any kind of electrical equipment, anything, they'll always say well, maybe not pregnant women. Now the red light would be helpful for the mother and the fetus, but if that baby comes out anything other than perfect, that is, those parents become a part of the most litigious community on the planet. They want to sue anybody in the neighborhood and I'll tell my practitioners you know what? Let's not be in that neighborhood. How about?

Speaker 2:

If we don't treat the pregnant woman until the day after delivery, then get her in the bed right away, especially after C-section. Her recovery will be outrageous. So much faster, so much less pain associated with that, and that goes to any surgery, by the way. So when we get people with plastic surgery especially I'm sure you've heard of tummy tucks and everyone thinks you know, they have no idea what's involved the the plastic surgeon facility is not going to tell them hey, you're going to be out of work for a long time. They go, you'll be back to work in a few days and it's not that painful. It's very painful during invasive surgery. We've worked with plastic surgeons because they recognize if they get a patient gets in the bed right after this surgery, so the surgery the surgeon doesn't mind because he's getting paid. You see, if this was instead of the surgery, the surgeon doing his work, then he'd be upset, but he's still doing the plastic surgery and then they're using this type of therapy right after the surgery to accelerate the healing and it gets much faster as well as much more thorough. So, anyhow.

Speaker 2:

So we were talking about all the joys I have. We talked about the website On the left side. Find a location close to you and I'm asking you to go six visits. I'm not in practice, so I'm not asking you to come to my office. I think for your own sake and remember, I know you might have a hard time believing this, but I really want to help and we as a group my network want to help as many people as we possibly can. So if you go to the website, go to the right side of the Contact Us page and it will I'm sorry left side of the contact and it will ask you for your location and we can't list all the locations for privacy reasons, but we'll find a location closest to you and try it.

Speaker 2:

For six visits A dose is 12 minutes. It's not a huge investment and I've hardly ever heard of anybody after six visits not seeing a change. Now you might need more. Most likely you'll need more treatment. But imagine somebody like I can't remember his name, but anyhow, there's this guy. He had Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy. What is that? It's LHON, which is a. It's essentially like multiple sclerosis of the retina. Now multiple sclerosis is eating away the nervous tissue.

Speaker 2:

So, this is eating away at the very central nerve in your eye called the retina, and it's eating away at it. And so this gentleman was guaranteed to be blind by the time, way before he was 30. He didn't notice anything much until he was in the second or third year in college and he started realizing he was going blind and the doctors finally realized that he had lhon which is crazy, you know and they had nothing to do for him. They couldn't help his headaches or migraine, they couldn't help his insomnia, except for loads of drugs and, uh, they certainly couldn't halt the progression of this, this disgusting disease. And we did. You're able to halt the progression. Now, in some diseases you can reverse the problem. In other words, you know, let's say they have a arthritis or even an autoimmune. We'll see, not only does it halt the progression but seems to reverse, so that they're the issues removed, so to speak. But with some of these, like multiple sclerosis and LHON, what we're able to do is halt the progression. So he's not going to be totally blind. That's the miracle.

Speaker 2:

And do you know, that's what my life has been about hearing from people saying thank you for giving me my life back. Thank you for giving me my life back. That's why, as a hippie in the 1970s, when I decided that I was going to my hippie, being a hippie back then meant for me money was not going to be my focus, and healing and helping people were, and that's what I did, and I'm so thrilled that you know and for the people that want to use this as a business, when you go to the website, on the Contact Us page on the right side, you can see if this makes sense for you to buy, either for your home. You know I'm 72 years old.

Speaker 2:

I get in the bed three times a week and will do so for the rest of my life, because it's not about where I'm at, it's where I don't want to be part of it, and so I liken well-being and health like a flame that burns bright, bright from the beginning. All the ways that a candle burning bright from the beginning, all the ways down to the bottom and then sputters out and dies. That's how you should live your life Well. Your well-being should be like that, not where the last 20% of your life you're an invalid, where you're not enjoying life, where you can't do much more than just sit and gaze out the window, if you even have a window in the home that you have at the senior citizen place. I want to not have that, and I'll tell you why. Some people don't take care of themselves and you know what?

Speaker 2:

it's about. It's about fear. They're not afraid enough because they have no idea what their 75 year old self is telling them right now, because you can hear it in the background while they're doing all these wrong things in their life. In the background is their 75 year old self screaming. Please don't do that, because when I'm seven, when you're 75, you know do you want to be vibrant and alive or you want to be half dead? And and including healthy ideas how you eat, the exercise you get and the sunlight.

Speaker 2:

Now the bed is essentially sunlight. What we've done is we've taken four elements of sunlight. None of the uv light or some of the other lights that are not healthy, just red and near infrared. That's all we've taken is four two elements of red, two elements of near infrared, magnify it many times and then drive it into the person's body to cover the head to toe, and we're going to talk about the mechanism in just a moment. But it is about sunlight, so I want to bring up that term infrared. In fact, I want to make myself a note, so I do that in future also. So the word is infrared, and I'm sure most of you have heard the word infrared. Yes, but there is no such thing as just infrared. It's either far infrared, which is a deep penetrating heat, or near infrared, which we used to call cold laser or cold therapy, because it doesn't get hot. So if you're using red light and you notice it's getting hot, it's because you're using a cheap knockoff of the medical grade, high end type of device that you deserve and that's what we've created Our bed.

Speaker 2:

When you get off the bed you'll feel comfortably warm, not cold. It's not like it's freezing, but it's comfortably warm and not hot. Why is heat the problem? Heat is absolutely the enemy, because heat brings more fluid to the surface, more blood to the surface. That's why, if I take a heat pack off someone's back, it's bright red. Well, why is that? Because more blood has come to the surface. That's the exact same thing you don't want. You don't want the heat creating that blood coming to the surface, because it will block the penetration of the light. What we always talk about is being under the radar Don't even let the body know something's happening Under the radar and getting that treatment to have the deepest penetration possible. So again I will talk about heat is the enemy that we're going to get back to the trifecta lightcom.

Speaker 2:

Contact us page right side. Buy it for your home If you want. If you have more money than health, that's what you should do. But if you want a business, most of the people who buy like 90% or so are really in it for the business. If you want a business and most of the people who buy like 90% or so are really in it for the business If you want to see something like a magnet like I have never seen before, it will drive more people to your facility than you can imagine and then the patients that you have will refer like you can't imagine.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you, satisfied patients don't refer. It's excited patients that refer. This guy couldn't walk. Now he's walking. Excitement. This guy was going blind, now he's not Excitement.

Speaker 2:

I just talked to this one lady. She was horrible arthritis and now she doesn't, and she said, as a kind of an aside, she wasn't emphasizing this. She also said, by the way, I referred 18 patients to that office that I was going to and that's what happens. You get a lot of referrals. So go to the website and see if this makes sense. Don't do this if it doesn't make sense, but if it makes sense, if you know anything about the body or the skin, or anything to do with the estheticians, the hair restoration, anything to do with weight loss, because I'm telling you that it helps with weight loss. Anything to do with weight loss, because I'm telling you that it helps with weight loss. Anything to do with fitness, or any health practitioner who recognizes that maybe helping people is more important than how much money you make. Let me state that differently. You can make plenty of money doing red light therapy, but not like you can do with surgery, not like the drug industry is making. So, with that said, let's talk about the actual mechanism involved. I want to see if there's also also if you just have any questions for me in general on the bottom of that contact us page. You can just ask questions there and put in there. Get this to Dr Rothschild if it's something you want to tell me or ask me about.

Speaker 2:

Now let's talk about the mechanism. There are two mechanisms. On the left side, uh, or on this side, so to speak, and it's a make-believe side, is fat loss and on the other side is everything else, that's the healing and everything else I'm going to be talking about, but I want to get fat loss out of the way. There's nothing more attractive that will bring more people into a facility than fat loss. Just telling you it's popular than heck, as we already talked about. But imagine doing it in such a healing way that you, you don't damage any tissues. You don't remove any tissues, because, as a natural healer myself, I'm never interested in damaging.

Speaker 2:

Removing chiropractic's about not putting anything in the body that doesn't belong there and not yanking anything out that does belong there. It's about trying to help the body and, again, the way chiropractic works, the way a lot of other natural healing. It's about cleaning. Let's say, for example, somebody has a wound. We're going to clean up the wound, maybe even put stitches, put a bandage over it, and then get the heck out of the way and allow the innate intelligence of the body to do its thing. We honor the body. We believe that the body knows a heck of a lot more than we do, so we'll help it. It's got an arrow in your shoulder. Let's get the arrow out, okay, that makes sense. Patch it up and then let the innate do its thing, so at any rate.

Speaker 2:

So now we're going to talk about the element of the mechanism of fat loss. So this was discovered about 14 years ago, of course, by accident, uh, as many discoveries in the world of any kind, in the science world and all over, these are often done, uh, by accident. So they discovered that there was an element of red light, only red light, no other colors, no other images, nothing. Only red light can actually help with shrinking fat cells. That was the first thing that they learned. The second thing is they thought it was melting the fat and that's why it worked. But that's not what's happening. So fat cells are changed but nothing's melted. And, by the way, this is not like freezing the fat or boiling fat or lazing the fat. It's not about taking fat out. It's not about radiofrequency or ultrasonic cavitation. All that's about destroying tissue.

Speaker 2:

Fat cells just have a bad rap because they have a lousy name. They are essential tissue that are involved with stem cell production. They're involved with hormone production and you don't want to get rid of essential tissue. So, rather than do that, could you imagine if we can keep the fat cells fully intact but just make a slight change? That's very temporary. And what they learned was this element of red light will actually change the permeability of the fat cell walls. Now that means that the fat cell walls become more porous, but only for a temporary period of time, maybe up to a day, and so the fat contents are allowed to leak out.

Speaker 2:

And with this unique protocol, we move the fat away from the fat cells and eventually to the liver for use or elimination. It's not complicated. It was. They didn't understand it until they did. Now we realize how interesting that is. The only thing we need to do is a few things to work with that protocol to get the fat away and to make sure the liver is as healthy as possible by giving healthy liver support you know, supplements or whatever but also to do all the other things to help the lymphatic system to do its job.

Speaker 2:

And that's fat loss. And it works. And when you pair it with a smart diet, a smart diet is calorically neutral, as I mentioned before. But also it's about staying away from these four things. Now, these four things the less you you're involved with these four things, the better. Most people are not going to be able to eliminate them completely, but do the best you can. And that's starchy carbohydrates, simple sugars, soda and alcohol. And all of those things are about creating sugar. They're all metabolized like their sugar like pasta is like a bowl of sugar and you tell the person, would you eat a bowl of sugar? No, but when you eat the bowl of pasta, your body recognizes that eventually as as sugar and it raises the blood glucose level so high, so fast, that it freaks the body out. And there's a whole I do a whole class on this, so I'm not going to go into that in any more detail but try to eliminate those four things. Start your carbohydrate symbol. Sugar, sodas and alcohol is the worst of those. Again, I'm not going to go into the detail, but of all, if you can either eliminate or at least lessen alcohol, that would also be very helpful. Pair that with red light therapy and you'll have very good results with fat loss.

Speaker 2:

So now let's talk about the as important as fat loss is and as many new patients as it's going to drive to a facility. I want to move over to my miracle wavelength, and that's near infrared and again. So now talking about infrared, we said there's far infrared, near infrared. Far infrared is hot. That's fine, but what we're doing when we're doing it? We don't want heat, so we don't have nothing. We have nothing to do with far infrared. Near infrared is the cold therapy, and what they found was that near infrared and again, it's an element of sunlight, and that near infrared stimulates certain tissues in the body called the mitochondria.

Speaker 2:

Now, when I went to school maybe most of you have heard of the word mitochondria when I went to school, we learned that there was one mitochondria for every cell, and that's not true. In fact, the heart, which has the highest demand for energy, has over 5,000 mitochondria in each cell. I'm going to talk about what the mitochondria does in a second, but I wanted to give you an idea how prevalent, how important the mitochondria is. So much so that the mitochondrial system, or the mitochondria in a person's body makes up and I want this to sink in 10% of your body weight. Wow, now think about it. Your body is made up of bone and hair and skin and blood and so many other things, and yet, and still, 10% of your body weight is made up of mitochondria. So mitochondria is really critical.

Speaker 2:

What does the mitochondria do? Mitochondria is the reason why you and I breathe oxygen and eat food, to create this energy molecule that becomes the energy currency of the body, and with this energy currency called ATP, we're then able to function. You have less ATP than you need, it will lead to disease and eventually death. You have the right amount and your body should be able to fight off anything and recover from just about anything, because all the functions I'm talking about include one of the most important things called healing. You need your mitochondria to do its job, to get the mitochondria to get to generate that ATP production.

Speaker 2:

Now there's one little other thing that you want to know, and that is there are tissues in the body that are called chromophores. Chromophore is sensitive to light energy. Not every cell in your body is stimulated by light energy. Some of them are, and the ones that are are called chromophores. And in each mitochondria is a chromophore called cytochrome C oxidase, and this cytochrome C oxidase, which is an enzyme, is stimulated by that certain types of wavelengths of light energy and, most importantly, is the near infrared which will get the most effect and will stimulate the cytochrome c oxidase to then stimulate the mitochondria to come back to life. So it is thought that everyone's going to eventually have lousy cytochrome C oxidase and mitochondrial dysfunction is a disease. So mitochondrial dysfunction is a disease process that they assume we're all going to have as you get older. There are books on it and this is relatively new I mean, they didn't know about this years ago, but now they do how important the mitochondria is, and it's just the assumption that as you get older, forget about it.

Speaker 2:

But I'm telling you, using the red light bed, we can bring the mitochondrial system back to normal, not more, not less, but what your body requires for you to be as healthy as you possibly can. So I want to also introduce you to Google Scholar. So I want to also introduce you to Google Scholar, and this is a way for you people out there who think this is crazy. Again, remember, it sounds like snake oil to some people because it's so involved with so many tissues of the body. Well, guess what it is. Every tissue of your body is made up of cells. Every cell in your body has mitochondria and if we can stimulate as many of those mitochondria to come back to life, that's why these results are not subtle.

Speaker 2:

That's why Steve who, when he was 12 years old, contracted Lyme disease and it ruined his childhood, it ruined his education, it ruined his social life and he had no career because he had no energy. Just getting from the car to his apartment was a big deal. By the time we met him, he was so depressed. He was 40 years. He had been suffering with this Lyme disease, no energy and so many other symptoms. And when you get a chance, I want you, when I send you these videos, I'd love for you to send them out, but Steve's is really one of those that, besides Arnett and Jessica's, you're probably going to get goosebumps, like I do, because when Steve it's like we talked before. It's totally life altering. So Steve gets in the bed after 40 years of suffering and when he gets out of the bed he notices no difference and he just dismissed this as useless. I'm not going to tell you anymore. I want you to listen and watch this video, sure, steve. So I'm going to send it to you and, and if you could send it to your audience, I think they'll love it.

Speaker 2:

And we talked about Arnett with the heart attacks, jerusha with the stroke, and then there's Jessica who, when I contacted her, she had 16 very serious conditions. What started off was a conversation about her Lyme disease, but it became three forms of psoriasis gluteate psoriasis, plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The psoriatic arthritis led to dactylitis, which means she had sausage toes and woke up often with these black and blue, swollen and very painful toes in the morning. So many other symptoms. I mean so many other things going on the shingles, uh, as I said already, lyme disease, just many, many things.

Speaker 2:

But one thing in particular that struck me is that while I'm talking to her I asked her you. She said she had uveitis. That means in this eye, one of her eyes, she. The pressure on that eye was 180, but it's supposed to be closer to 10. And that, left untreated, will lead to blindness. So the treatment for her was drops in her eye, which cost her 400 a month copay and an injection right in her eye once a month, which I when you watch the video you'll see how reaction when I said well, what's that like getting an injection in your eye? Watch that video and you'll see which, what her impression of that is. But at any rate, after a relatively short period of time, all 16 things have resolved, including 20 years of constant diarrhea. Doesn't have that anymore. The shingles, of course, the psoriasis, all that stuff. Watch that video, it's unbelievable.

Speaker 2:

So, with that said, I do want to tell you that when people get in the bed they just have their eyes closed. Imagine they wouldn't wear the goggles. I'm telling you, the light can get through the brain to the brain through getting through the skull, so you know it can get through the eyelid. And talking about the brain, it helps psychological and emotional issues tremendously. You don't, you won't. It's this is not the time of the year for this, but there's no seasonal blues when you're using this bed, because you won't have that problem.

Speaker 2:

But way beyond that, we had this one lady that was very depressed. She hated her life and then she wrote me this. It says if this is how normal people feel every day, I can't believe I've been missing out all this time. She's no longer depressed just after two weeks of using red light therapy. She's no longer depressed just after two weeks of using red light therapy. So even the emotional issues psychological and emotional, all of it, yeah, and then all the physical stuff. So when people get in the bed, they don't wear the goggles.

Speaker 2:

It's keep their eyes closed and their mouth open because we want to get into the mouth. But let's get back to the eyes. Why do you need to keep your eyes closed or open? It doesn't matter. If you open your eyes, it's like having a very strong flashlight in your eye. It's very strong, so just keep your eyes closed, because some people get a little headache. There's no long term danger to it. But you just keep your eyes closed and let that glorious, miraculous energy seep through the eyelid and get into your eye. And I'm telling you, like floaters people talking to me about floaters you know little ants or gnats. They're gone within two weeks typically. I can't promise you anything, I'm just telling you you should try it, remember. The worst that'll happen is nothing. You need six visits. Go to the website trifectalightcom. Excellent. Well, thank you so much, doctor. It's been such a pleasure having you on our podcast today and I really appreciate you giving us the origin and the history and the benefits of red light therapy. It sounds like it's pretty miraculous in how life changed, life altering, as we mentioned before. Um, I would like for certain for us to find out a little more about your uh services and what you offer, so we'll make sure to put all the notes in the notes page. Your website and the book that you also wrote and hopefully you know, continue to heal so many people out there that are struggling with everyday chronic issues. Thank you so much, dr Rothschild.

Speaker 2:

You're very welcome.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, take care, bye-bye, bye-bye.
